Your Animal Spirit Guide can come in all sorts of animals, and at different times of your life. Just like the moon and its phases, so is our life. Animals showcase a way to relate and give guidance for any scenario we are in.
Shamans all over the world work with the spirit of the animals through ceremonies, mediations, healings etc. Calling upon the essence, the spirit of the animals to bring forth, not only it’s characteristics but their deeper ways of connecting to higher ways of life.
One example, While my last name is Fox 🦊, it is not my main animal totem. For me, it is the Turkey Vulture. The Vulture represents death and rebirth. Taking its sweet time in the air to observe its surroundings for food, water, danger, rest, Or even just play time in the wind streams above. Especially when a storm is approaching.
Then to take it even deeper, their guts are the strongest and purest in the world. Their gut biohome allows food to become a great source for manure. Farmers love this for their crops and soil. Additionally, a vultures aura field can cleanse the air of impurities.
Their raw ability to maintain, preserve and exert energy that is distributed evenly so burn out never happens.
they live to bring us medicine of faith, patience, purity and wisdom.
How do you find out your animal spirit guide? Here are a few ways to do so:
1. Pray and ask. Then in the next coming days, be aware of what comes up in your reality.
2. See what the first animal comes up in your mind or heart. Then dive deep into the connection. What do you see in yourself with the animal? What may the animal have that you want to embody?
3. Maybe you already know and it has been with you your entire life.
It is fun and uplifting to the human spirit to look up the spiritual meaning of an animal!!
The deeper we go to help ourselves feel good and uplift our spirit, we can carry this energy with us for our days.
